HomePassport™

A verified, address-tied record of every inspection, repair, equipment serial number, and maintenance event for a single-family home.

Full definition

A HomePassport™ is a verified, address-tied digital record of every inspection, repair, equipment serial number, and maintenance event for a residential property. It functions as a Carfax for homes: the record stays with the property when ownership changes hands, allowing each new owner to continue building documented history.

Each entry is sourced from a date-stamped inspection or a licensed-vendor work order, with photo evidence and vendor identity attached. Buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and insurance carriers can review the HomePassport™ via a public share link or PDF export.

Why does this matter?

The National Association of Realtors' 2024 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers reports that 23% of pending residential transactions face a post-inspection price re-negotiation, averaging ~$14,000 in concessions. A verified maintenance record eliminates the information gap that drives those concessions.
